How Cory Scott and Stefan Duchesne Started Kids Know Sports

Hi, my name is Cory Scott, and in this article, I’m going to share how my friend Stefan and I started Kids Know Sports.

On January 1, 2025, I finished reading How to Turn $100 into $1,000,000 by the creators of Biz Kid$, James McKenna and Jeannine Glista, with Matt Fontaine. In chapter 6 on page 60, the book talked about starting a podcast. That idea really stuck with me. After thinking it over and making sure I had everything I needed, I called my friend Stefan.

Stefan was skiing at the time and answered from the lodge. When I told him my idea, he was instantly excited. He loves sports and even sells baseball cards with his dad, so the podcast idea was perfect for him. Together, we decided to create Kids Know Sports, and we plan to release our first episode on Monday, January 12, at 5:00 p.m. EST.
